HALF RUN - DECEMBER 12, 2004

THE HALF RUN WAS NOT HELD AT THE SEYMOUR RESERVE

We made other arrangements because of construction at the Reserve. Congratulations to those of you who ran the Full Half: Sarah, Perm, Gwen and Ann, LisaS & LisaA, Diane & Drew, Brian and Cheryl. Also well done Alex and Lisa (the third!), you did really well with your training and running. What a great day and what a great course. We all started together at the Chan Centre at UBC, ran down to Spanish Banks along the beachfront to Kits over the Burrard Bridge and down to the seawall, past 2nd beach and into the park. From there it was a simple trot over Lion's Gate Bridge and down to Ambleside. The route was 8km to Kits beach and then kind-of followed the Coho route to Ambleside, 2:19:40 after the start we were all treated to fresh water, chocolates and Cob's bread. Thanks Marci! Also Thanks to Linda, Cheryl and Denise for the support.

NOW ITS TIME TO RECOVER!

It's time to recover now. Conservative wisdom says that you should take one week of recovery for each hour you race. So based on a 2 hour race there should be two full weeks of recovery.

Don't forget to join us next year. Put it in your calendar now!
